Senior Portrait Session - Crockery Creek Natural Area & Sunflower Meadows

The first step to starting your senior year, the year of your "last firsts" (last first day of school, last first game of the season, etc.), is taking your senior portraits. Typically, the senior portrait schedule starts as soon as your junior year has ended. Once you've heard that last bell of your third year.. you're officially a senior and the fun begins! I 100% classify your senior portraits as one of the fun things.

For Mackenzie's senior session, we booked two sessions, allowing us to knock out four different locations! The first session our only requirement was that we had was to make sure we went somewhere with sunflowers. So we chose two nearby locations, Crockery Creek Natural Area in Nunica for some rustic structures, and Sunflower Meadows in Coopersville for their flower fields. Both proved to be insanely gorgeous with the most perfect backdrops and lighting. Mackenzie brought a light of her own to the session, too. She graced my camera with such a beautiful smile and personality. I was so happy to know we had another session scheduled to her two part booking, because it meant I'd get the excuse to see her again! The session wrapped up with the perfect ending, too.. we ran across some goats, Mackenzie's favorite animal! I think she's put some good karma out into the world, because everything kept going so right.
