Abby & Alex's Engagement Portraits - Grand haven City Beach & Boardwalk

Abby and Alex’s engagement session utilized a couple of the best photo locations Grand Haven has to offer. We started the evening on the boardwalk and ended on the sand dunes of Lake Michigan. The boardwalk added a classic small beach-town touch with the natural wood planks, tall beach grass, and open water views. Outdoor summer sessions in Grand Haven are perfect for walking around between locations vs driving. And for this session, the "walking around" almost became its own location, as we kept taking pictures throughout all of the in-between moments. This approach is perfect for couples who want more organic photos that feel candid and natural rather than overly posed. Abby & Alex mirrored the happiness and radiance of a coastal summer.
