A Postcard From
Grand Haven, Michigan

Maleah’s senior session was a great example of how much variety you can get during senior pictures in Grand Haven without traveling far. We started at a small park tucked near the lakeshore, using hydrangeas and tall grass to create a soft, natural backdrop. This type of setting works especially well at the beginning of a session. It’s quieter, shaded, and gives seniors a chance to ease into being in front of the camera.
From there, we walked along a nearby boardwalk, which added a subtle coastal feel to her West Michigan senior photos. The transition between locations keeps sessions feeling dynamic and results in diverse images in your delivered gallery. We ended at the beach right as the sun started to set to get those iconic golden hour photos. I get absolutely giddy standing on the dunes in the beach grass when the light hits just right. There are few views more beautiful!
Maleah's family accompanied us during the session, and it was the sweetest thing in the world to see her support system. I hope when she looks back on these photos, she sees not only the beautiful girl in front of the camera, but also all the love radiating from her family that was behind it.
